Mercadillo de la Almazara de Torrox is getting ready to host the 40th edition of Fiesta de las Migas de Torrox 2021. Named an event of national tourist interest in Andalusia, this foodie festival celebrates the traditional dish of migas every Christmas. Originally, migas was cooked and eaten by farmers in different parts of Spain. The recipe for the dish is simple, combining oil, garlic, water, breadcrumbs, flour and salt. Over the years, Torrox has become famous for migas and this festival is the perfect opportunity to experience one of the most traditional celebrations in La Axarquía. Will we see you there?
