Public transport in the Costa del Sol: more eco-friendly vehicles
In recent years public transport in the Costa del Sol has introduced new greener vehicles. One example is the Municipal Transport Company or EMT, which has replaced its fleet with eco-friendly buses, or the recent incorporation of the metro into the capital's transport system.
Málaga is also pioneering an electric vehicles project. A fleet of 200 electric vehicles have been deployed and around 250 charging points have been established for electric cars.
