El Negro Beach
About usPlaya del Negro is located in the Malaga municipality of Manilva. It extends between cala de la Sardina and arroyo de Alcorrín.
Straight and quite wide, it spans an area of 1,300 metres in length and 60 metres in width. This is a semi-urban beach with no promenade, characterized by the prevailing background landscape: rolling hills perpendicular to the sea.
It consists of dark sand silico-slate, and the waves are moderate. Playa del Negro is a place well known for tuna fishermen because its waters have captured some of the most beautiful specimens of this species.
Come to the magnificent La Duquesa Marina in Manilva which enjoys great facilities. In addition to playa del Negro, other best known beaches are playa de Sabinillas, la playa Chullera, playa de la Duquesa - El Castillo or playa de la Colonia.

From Manilva you can get to Playa del Negro by car on the A-377, continuing along the A-7. Travel time is between 8-10 minutes depending on traffic. There is also the possibility of getting there by foot from the town.
From Malaga we recommend taking the AP-7, as the distance of the trip is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. However, it can also be reached via the A-355 continuing a stretch on the AP-7. The time of this route is about 15 minutes longer than the previous one.
