La Caleta Beach
About usCaleta beach is in Nerja, just a few kilometres from the centre of the Malaga town. Also known as the Caleta de Maro which is a neighbour of one of the best beaches in Spain, Maro beach.
With all the features of Maro Beach, but with much less occupation for being less popular. In addition, its difficult access and its guard between cliffs decrease your visits and give it a wild charm.
La Caleta de Maro is the famous "Calachica" of the popular series of eighties Verano Azul (Blue Summers), a beach which is maintained same as thirty years ago and you could perfectly identify it in the series.
Like other nearby beaches it is ideal for snorkelling or diving and discovering the fauna under the sea with its crystal clear waters. You can enjoy a small freshwater waterfall falling into the sea.
No additional services are available, so you have to be cautious before coming to enjoy a great day at the beach.

HOW TO GET THERE
Of you leave from the Center of Nerja, drive towards N-340, you will have to take the right deviation before reaching the Maro beach. Driving through a small ground track until reaching the wooden steps that drive you to your direction.
Instead, to access the Caleta beach from Málaga, you must drive towards A-7 taking the exit 295. Driving towards N-340, you will have to take the right deviation before reaching the Maro beach. Driving through a small ground track until reaching the wooden steps that drive you to your direction.
