Museum - Aula del Mar Alborania
On July 7, 1989 "Aula del Mar de Málaga" was opened in Malaga City Centre. It was a project created by a group of students from Malaga, whose main objective was to interpret the marine environment and also encourage disclose their protection and conservation.
To this end, several rooms were conditioned, granted by the Fishermen's Association of Malaga, to carry out marine environmental education activities and the location of a permanent exhibition of marine aquariums and cabinets with shells and shells of marine animals, as well as pieces related to this world (boating, fishing, underwater archeology, aquaculture, etc. ..).
This center is now serving 20 years, and in this decade the surface, equipment, personnel, types and number of activities, lines of work, projects, visitor numbers, scope, and so on. It has increased considerably, to the point of becoming a reference in Malaga, Andalusia, and recent nationwide.
