The Mesón Galego Antoxo, in Torremolinos, celebrated its 28th anniversary on April 12, 2009... Nearly three decades offering Galician flavours on the Costa del Sol.
The idea of opening Antoxo, which means "craving" in the Galician language, came to Juan Mariño when he, who'd recently arrived in Málaga hailing from Galicia, had a craving for octopus and Ribeiro wine.
The establishment serves all kinds of shellfish -lobster, scallop, crayfish, crab, shrimp, oyster, cockle... You'll find all of them in Antoxo's varied menu, but this is not all, for they serve meat, fish and vegetables too.
Antoxo has wines from every Spanish designations of origin, and the Galician ones are the star wines on the list. We recommend Albariño and Ribeiro to highlight the flavours from Galicia.
