Playa de La Araña

La Araña Beach

Playa de La Araña Málaga, 29018, Málaga, 29018
Share

The neighbourhood of La Araña is the easternmost nucleus of the city of Málaga. The beach is in an eponymous fishermen's district, and since people tend to fish, you'll find boats and fishing gear. You can also visit some of the most relevant Andalusian prehistoric archaeological vestiges with caves and sites that people lived in more than 300,000 years ago.

The privileged geographical enclave, the excellent climate and the wealth of land and sea resources make this area an ideal place for a visit. This archaeological complex is called Malaga Prehistoric Park, and it's a can't-miss stop on your visit to the area.

This semi-urban beach is made up of golden sand, has an extension of 400 meters in length and 25 meters in average width and usually has a moderate swell tide. When the summer season begins, we can find all kinds of rental services such as marine equipment or pedal boats, among others.
