WHAT IS THE ‘LIVING COSTA DEL SOL’ PROJECT ABOUT?
‘Living Costa del Sol’ is a project being jointly carried out by the Provincial Government of Málaga, the Costa del Sol Tourist Board and the Málaga Association of Builders and Developers (ACP) to promote Málaga Province as a residential tourism destination abroad. To attain this goal, information will be made accessible in foreign markets on the homes for sale in the province, guaranteeing a legal framework for them, in an effort to activate the local economy.
ACP affiliates shall offer their properties for sale to international buyers in a special section in the Costa del Sol Tourist Board website. In order to be published here, all properties shall have the development and registration documents required by Spanish law, in order to guarantee transactions within a framework of legal security. Based on these documents, as well as on those provided by the Provincial Government via the local governments of the towns where the properties are located, interested buyers can get legal reports from lawyers in Spain and in their country to ensure the property they are going to buy meets all legal requirements.
‘Living Costa del Sol’ is thus a project developed by the provincial authorities and local businessmen signing a cooperation agreement to boost Málaga’s image as a safe destination in the residential tourism sector.
