In addition, special mention to an art now obsolete by technological advancement, but has been a source of wealth for the people of Alameda. We are referring to the way they worked the limestone, so that it can then be used to make that colour so characteristic of andalusian white houses. There is a Tourist Information Point in Alameda at the Andalusian Rural Museum. Here visitors can get all the information they need to explore the village.
When you are in the village of Alameda, you can reach Andalusian Countryside Museum or Tourist Information Point crossing the village through Avda. Libertad, Plaza Constitución, Calle Granada and Plaza de España. When you are arriving to Plaza de España, turn right to calle Baja, and go on this street until the end, where you must turn left in direction to the church, and before arriving the church you ll see a street on the left, where you can find the Andalusian Countryside Museum a 150 metres away, in front of the Roman Bath Them Centre.
