Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación
The construction of this church dates back to the 16th century. Over time, it has undergone two restorations, the first in the 18th century and the second in the mid-20th century. The structure and architectural characteristics are in Mudejar style. The church was formerly Our Lady of the Angels and then Our Lady of the Incarnation. The building, like many churches in the area, was built atop a mosque from the al-Andalus era. The niche where the carving of the Virgin stood now has one of San Roque. The Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación church has great historical and artistic value for the inhabitants of Cútar.
