El Saladillo Beach
About us
El Saladillo Beach is 13 kilometres from Estepona, heading east. The beach is a long stretch of 3 kilometres, 35 metres wide. Although there is no promenade, the beach gets fairly busy. It is covered in dark sand and there is a moderate swell. The beach stretches as far as the mouth of the river Guadalmansa and the dunes separating it from adjacent holiday resorts.
There are several beach bars and restaurants close to the beach, inviting you to sample the best of Malaga's cuisine. Be sure to taste the fried fish before you leave!
The beach has also been awarded the Blue Flag 2016, a fact which is clearly reflected in the quality of the water and the surrounding environment. The perfect place for a great day at the beach.
