Duquesa Castle or Sabinillas Bunker
Erected in 1767 under the orders of Francisco Paulino from Seville, this castle in the Sabinillas coastal enclave was a defensive bunker against pirates and privateers.
It later became an encampment for the Military Police and Civil Guard, and today it falls under the municipal authorities and is a meeting point for culture and leisure activities. You can also visit the archaeological ruins in the area.
The name Duquesa comes from the beach that holds the same name.
