CAC Málaga - Centre for Contemporary Art in Malaga

The CAC Malaga is the emblem of commitment to contemporary art of the Malaga City Council which aims to spread the plastic and visual arts since the last third of the twentieth century to the present.

The CAC Málaga opened on February 17, 2003 and has since been characterized by its dynamism and its emphasis on reflection, teaching and dissemination of contemporary art.

The opening of the CAC Málaga has created new possibilities in the cultural field in southern Spain, getting a reference become international art. It also represents a first in Spain to combine the management methods of private enterprise with the ideals and objectives of the public sphere.
