Drawing and Etchings From the Permanent Collection
This exhibition marks the beginning of a new development at Picasso Museum Málaga: a research project exploring the contents of the Museum"s permanent collection. Traditional painting topics – nudes, landscapes, still lifes – were taken up once and again by Picasso in increasingly fragmented compositions, where a single object was presented from various angles at the same time.
The exhibition also includes the screening of Picasso & Braque Go to the Movies (2008), a film directed by Arne Glimcher and produced by Martin Scorsese and Robert Greenhut, never shown before in Spain. Picasso & Braque Go to the Movies is a film about Picasso, Braque, Cubism and early cinema, describing how the technology revolution that led to the invention of planes or cinema had an impact on the work of these two artists.

How to get here
The Picasso Museum is located in the historic city center. In its vicinity are located several public bus stops (closest to the Museum is the Hall) as well as taxi ranks. In the case of having a private vehicle, there are several public car parks available to drivers.
