La Cueva del Tesoro is the only marina visited cave in Europe. It has been discovered cave paintings of animals, pottery and objects belonging to the Neolithic flint lithic industry among which a Solustrense Arrowhead. However, what has been internationally known for is the ancient oral tradition and written which reflects the existence of a hidden treasure for Ali Ibn Tasufin Almoravid Emperor in the twelfth century. Since the seventeenth century took place treasure-hunting expeditions, and later continued in the twentieth century by Manuel Laza Palacios under more scientific premises until his death.
