The old Capuchin convent in Malaga will fully recover its glory in the next few months. You'll be able to enjoy its baroque patrimony at the ArsMálaga Episcopal Palace until Sunday the 29th of April. The exhibtion titled ‘Tesoros de Capuchinos’ (Capuchin Treasures) will have valuable carvings and paintings from the Baroque period that are preserved in the well-known Capuchin temple on show.

The display will be divided in three parts. The first of them is dedicated to two of the devotions proper to the order of the Capuchin friars, the second collects images and canvases of the Franciscan saints and the last part is devoted to Capuchin devotions.

There's a catalogue available that contains reviews for each and every one of the pieces on display, as well as history-related articles on the Capuchins from Málaga's old convent.

A priceless collection of baroque works of art that give this temple an unquestionable artistic and historical value.
