Day of the Crosses Frigiliana

On 28th April, Frigiliana celebrates the Day of the Crosses and Cane Honey Day. Both festivals have been unified into one spectacular weekend to present local traditions to tourists featuring the finest gastronomy from regional products.

Honey will be the theme of the day. There will be free tastings, an exhibition of photographs and old utensils, photography and painting competitions, live grinding, gastronomy, cane juice tasting and performances on the Plaza del Ingenio stage.

Honey will be the flavour of the day in the activities of the Day of the Crosses, since it is an ingredient used in many of the sweets that are made for this day and that are offered to tourists on their journey through the crosses that are decorated around Frigiliana.
