G.F. Handel’s Messiah

The concerts taking part in the “la Caixa” Social Project offer a unique experience which brings together amateur singers and internationally-renowned orchestras, soloists and directors to perform key pieces from the symphonic-choral repertoire of all times. This is how they will perform The Messiah by G.F. Handel, the pinnacle of classical music and the piece of music which started this initiative in 1995. This oratorio, based on Biblical excerpts which announce the arrival of Christ and his redemptive mission, is symbolic of Christmas around the world.
