The story never told
The La Concepción Botanical-Historic Garden is launching a new night-time theatrical visit. The title is "La historia jamás contada" (The story never told). In summary, this new visit tells how Malaga was troubled by the terrible plague of phylloxera that devastated the vines of the city in 1878. Jorge Loring, a liberal delegate resident in Madrid, worried about the destruction of his garden, decides to make an urgent visit to Malaga and meet with the gardener Jacinto Chamoussent to assess the state of his country house.
The gardener tries to make Jorge see a reality different from what has actually happened, drawing a magical garden with goblins, fairies and trolls that has nothing to do with the plague. During July and August, "Un paseo en el tiempo" (A walk in time) will arrive at the La Concepción Botanical Garden with the aim of revealing the magic that enshrouds La Conception and its most romantic corners with the night as a backdrop.
