"Lorca" reflects the intimate moments of writer Federico García Lorca, who one hour before his death, while imprisoned by the four walls of a cell, begins to let his mind fly and recall the main moments of his life. This mental journey is represented in an original way, cautiously and harmoniously, so that the audience may experience the journey through the different emotions the artist lived through over the course of his life—joyous and sad, vital and bitter. All the information comes from a series of letters that Lorca sent to his loved ones: family, friends and professional peers. This play offers a unique literary experience of the life and the quality of this artist"s pen. Juan Carlos Rubio is writer and director of this play, with protagonists played by Gema Matarranz and Alejandro Vera.
