Louise Bourgeois: I Have Been to Hell and Back

Share

The Picasso Museum Málaga is showing the complex, fascinating oeuvre of Louise Bourgeois (1911-2010), one of the most influential artists of the twentieth and early twenty-first centuries. Bourgeois, who spend most of her life in USA, explored a wide variety of disciplines and subjects, including memory, motherhood, sex or frustration. Her works are original, autobiographical, lyrical.

"I Have Been to Hell and Back" is her most comprehensive retrospective in Spain, comprising more than 100 works – a third of which had never been on display before in our country.
