Malaga city council’s Centre for Contemporary Culture, La Térmica, will host the “Cultura Basura” festival on 7 and 8 October. One of its main stars will be the American filmmaker John Waters, although other artists including Alaska, Topacio Fresh, Eduardo Casanova, Mario Vaquerizo, Jordi Costa, Valeria Vegas and “Soy una pringada” will also be present throughout the weekend. Attendees will be able to enjoy a great programme of activities including exhibitions, interviews, screenings, round tables, and culinary and musical celebrations.
Saturday 7 October:
•    6:00 p.m. Opening of the event with John Waters, Eduardo Casanova and Topacio Fresh. Screening of the film “Pieles” (Skins) and general inauguration.
•    8:00 p.m. Round Table: “Trash Culture: intention or naivety”.
•    10:00 p.m. Inauguration of the exhibition “Bad Taste”.
•    10:30 p.m. BURGER PARTY - King Jedet, DJ Set. 
Sunday 8 October:
•    6:30 p.m. John Waters and Topacio present the screening of “Pink Flamingos”.
•    8:30 p.m. Alaska meets John Waters. Introduced by: Topacio Fresh.
•    11:00 p.m. FRENCH FRIES PARTY / DJ: Mario Vaquerizo.
