Easter Week in Malaga 2018: Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday will be celebrated on the 25th of April. It's the day that commemorates the entry of Jesus of Nazareth into Jerusalem in the middle of a crowd which acclaims Him as the Son of God. There are nine 'cofradías' (brotherhoods) that will parade that day:

Pollinica: Leaving at 9:45am from San Agustín Church (City centre).

Tears and Favours: Leaving at 10:55am from the Parish Church of 'San Juan Bautista' (City centre).

Humility and Patience: Leaving at 1:10pm from the Parish Church of 'San Vicente de Paul' (Cruz de Humilladero neighbourhood - La Unión).

Humility: Leaving at 2pm from the Basilica and Royal Sanctuary of 'Santa María de la Victoria' (La Victoria neighbourhood).

Garden: Leaving at 4:30pm from the Parish Church of 'Los Santos Mártires Ciriaco y Paula' (City centre).

Sweet Name: Leaving at 3:15pm from the Parish Church of 'La Divina Pastora' (Barrio de capuchinos).

Salutation: Leaving at 4:45pm from the Parish Church of 'San Felipe' (Barrio de capuchinos - Molinillo).

Health: Leaving at 4:15pm from the Parish Church of 'San Pablo' (Trinidad neighbourhood).

Capture: Leaving at 4:45pm from the Parish Church of 'La Divina Pastora' (Barrio de capuchinos).
