Theatre ‘El Silencio de la Boba’. Estepona

The comedian Moncho Borrajo will present his new original work, ‘El Silencio de la boba’ on the 8th of June in the Felipe VI Auditorium in Estepona. The piece is directed by Cristina Navarro, the current director of ‘Comediantes Malagueños Teatro’. They arrive on the back of their first show’s recent success in Málaga as this is a verse comedy which makes the entire audience laugh.

The story unfolds in Habsburg Madrid.  In the house of Mr Germán and Mrs Caridad they are attempting, by any means possible, to find a husband for their daughter who is… one could say… a little… Well, she’s thick as a plank. To this end, they attempt to trick the first suitor who appears. What they could never have imagined is that the ‘unwary suitor’ would turn out to be none other than Juan Tenorio who comes from Seville following a bet.
