Exhibit: Diego Ruiz Cortés. "60 Years of Painting"

Digo Ruiz Cortés's work is an example of a distinctive evolution in painting. The artist began with the European tradition of Post-Impressionism and Neo-Impressionism to, later, continue on the path of figurative painting through rural and urban landscapes of Seville, Segovia and Huelva. Next, Ruiz takes a step towards the geometric style, for which he uses mathematics and science to give life, movement, light and colour to his works. You can see the whole progression of his work in this exhibition on display at the Casa de la Cultura in Fuengirola until 25 September.
