- 28 Jul 2020 - 10 Jan 2021 Tuesday-Friday from 9:30 -14:30 and 17.00-21:00 Saturday and Sunday from 9:30-21:00 Closed Mondays
The Masks exhibit wants to show this artistic element as a representation of humankind in modern art. Masks historically played an integral role in carnivals and an accessory in costumes and were later featured on the characters of the Italian Commedia dell’ arte. Over the years, masks gained prominence in non-European cultures. For this reason, modern art has used masks as an element that questions man’s identity, individuality and subjectivity. This fascinating exhibit is one you can't miss!
