Philippe Pasqua exhibition

Large scale paintings, drawings and sculptures comprise artist Philippe Pasqua’s oeuvre, with almost 40 pieces created from 1990 to the present day. Centro de Arte Contemporáneo in Malaga city is housing the exhibition El lado oscuro (“The dark side”), a retrospective considering 3 decades of the artist’s work. His art is characterised by the representation of faces, nudes and portraits of children, disabled people, transgender people, sex workers and members of his family. Through his work, Philippe Pasqua wants the viewer to reflect on the coexistence of beauty and ugliness as well as question the moral values of our time.
