Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is the fourth largest airport in Spain in terms of air traffic flow; it is also the third airport in the Iberian Peninsula and ranks 22nd in the EU.
With its large number of passengers, hundreds of landings and take-offs every day (over 10,000 international flights a year) and world-class infrastructure, it is the gateway not only to the Costa del Sol but to the whole of Andalusia.
The airport is easily accessed via the highway network, continuous commuter rail services and buses. Its brand-new, modern terminal and runway are expected to double its capacity.
Málaga Airport is served by more than 60 airlines that connect it to 20 cities in Spain and over 100 in Europe – mostly in the UK, Central Europe and Scandinavia.
There are flights to destinations in Eastern Europe, North Africa, the Middle East and North America as well.
