The Costa del Sol is a communication hub with a huge potential for business relationships. The airport, only 8km from Málaga City and 46km from Marbella, serves about 100 air routes and 12 million passengers a year. This places it among the three leading airports in the Iberian Peninsula.
A modern road network makes it easy to reach the Costa del Sol or any place in Málaga Province (hotels, convention centres, tourist attractions) by car. Using the efficient public transport system or renting a car at one of the many car rentals available, visitors can easily get around.
The high-speed train links Málaga to most major cities in Spain, in particular, to Madrid, Seville and Barcelona. María Zambrano Station serves 24 million users every year, getting on and off commuter, inter-city and long-distance trains. To all this infrastructure we should add the three maritime terminals of the Port of Málaga.
