Baños Árabes de Ronda

Ronda Arab Baths

Share

The Arab Baths in Ronda are a tourist attraction in this small town’s old Jewish quarter. Built between the 13th and 15th centuries, they gradually found themselves buried in floods once abandoned. However, subsequent excavations recovered and preserved nearly the entire entire structure with three rooms for different water temperatures (cold, warm and hot), vaulted covers, part of the boilers and the water supply systems. Their great state of conservation is what makes them stand out, and as a result, they’re the best-preserved Arab baths in the entire Iberian peninsula.
