Fuengirola Bullring
The Fuengirola Bullring is right in the centre of town. It is a category-3 bullring seating 4,029 people. In the summer and during the festival of Our Lady of the Rosary, from 6 to 12 October, it plays host to bullfights and equestrian shows: dressage, carriages, etc.
This bullring was opened on 8 July 1962 with an event featuring matadors César Girón, Manuel Segura and José Martínez "Limeño", rejoneador Clemente Espadanal, and bulls from the ranch of Germán Gervás. It was recently rehabilitated, reopening in 2012 with bullfights starring El Cordobés, El Fandi and Juan José Padilla.
