To observe the Castle, we recommend you doing it from the viewpoint of the famous Moorish border, located at kilometre 20 of the highway A-2300. In addition to the Castle, from this place, you will have wonderful views of the Sierra de Ronda, with its lush landscape of pines.

Located in the plaza, Pablo Ruiz Picasso, this fountain is a tribute to the history of the town, a history linked to water. In this sense, it is also interesting to see the acequita Benito, a canal of rocks crossing Montecorto from the area known as ""the twelve pillars"" until a watermill located in the suburbs.

Near the Fuente del Dolmen we find the church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen, patroness of Montecorto. After several landslides and reforms, it was last rebuilt in 2002.

Montecorto is located at approximately 120 km from Málaga capital. If you commute in car, the fastest route is the highway A-367 and A-357 until Ronda. Once you reach there, take A-374 until Montecorto.
