The Mesón Cordobés, which opened in 1964, is situated in the Plaza de las Flores, one of the most central, popular meeting points in Estepona. It specialises in meat and fish and traditional Andalusian dishes. Also to be recommended are its varied tapas, such as meat in a special sauce, potato salad with mayonnaise and anchovies marinated in vinegar. This typical Andalusian restaurant, with its collection of ancient agricultural tools hanging on the walls, is air-conditioned and can cater for all family or business parties. There is also a large terrace where you can sit in summer or on any sunny winter's day, soaking up the atmosphere of the town and enjoying the delicate scent of the flowers and plants in the square.

How to get here
The Mesón Cordobés is in the Plaza de las Flores, possibly the most charismatic place in Estepona. To get to this typical Andalusian square you have to go up Calle Terraza, which is the main road starting from the Avenida de España (turning right if coming from Malaga or left if coming from Algeciras) by Barclays Bank. Once in Calle Terraza you will find on the left-hand side several pedestrian streets which give access to the Plaza de las Flores where you will easily find the Mesón Cordobés. Due to its popularity and because it is an old, family-run business which has been going for nearly 50 years, anybody in town will easily be able to give you the right directions.
