Located in a historic building, this is the perfect place for getting a real feel for the city and buying all manner of top quality produce. If you visit this market, some essentials are aloreñas olives, Axarquía raisins, Frigiliana cane syrup and roasted almonds.
For an extra-special treat, look for the small gourmet shops in the old quarters of the cities and towns. These shops specialise in local products typical of each region.
