Ever-popular Carnaval de Málaga is back in 2023 and going all out with festivities from the 11 to the 19 February. In Malaga, carnival is synonymous with tablas, passion, art and culture. Before the official event begins, the city’s eleven districts hold costume and dance competitions. From the 11 February you can enjoy all the madness including the opening event (pregón), the selection of the Dios and Diosa of the carnival, the battle of the flowers (Batalla de las Flores), parades and much, much more. Carnaval de Málaga is an extravaganza like no other. Don’t miss it.
