Festival de Verdiales

This year, Comares is hosting Festival de Verdiales as it always has on the penultimate weekend of July. On the 23 and 24 of the month, the pandas will perform this authentic style of music that gets the locals’ emotions going. Composed of a violin, two guitars, a pandero, two cymbals and a lute, the pandas play verdiales in the Comares style, with a deep and melodic rhythm. The alcalde plays an important role in the panda, as they are in charge of organising and directing the group throughout the performance. Come to Comares to see what promises to be traditional and captivating performances. We hope to see you there.
