Torremolinos gets ready for Holy Week, which takes place this year from the 2 to 9 of April. This festival combines religion and culture to create a very special occasion on the streets of this town in Malaga. The local brotherhoods organise events and processions to the delight of locals and visitors alike. The religious organisations this year are: Cofradía Nuestro Padre Jesús a su Entrada en Jerusalén, María Santísima Reina de la Paz, and Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno y María Santísima de los Dolores. La Pollinica and Our Father Jesus Christ of the Death are two of the religious figures that will be carried on adorned floats through Torremolinos during the week.
