The origins of Real Cofradía Amor y Caridad date back to 1923 when a group of worshippers gathered around the images of a Crucified Christ and an Our Lady of Sorrows that were being worshipped in Convento de las Madres Agustinas Descalzas chapel, in Compás de la Victoria, close to the La Patrona temple. This brotherhood is a public association of believers who publicly worship Nuestro Señor Jesucristo, under the name of Santísimo Cristo del Amor, Santísima Madre, Santísima Virgen de los Dolores and Nuestra Señora de la Caridad. The brotherhood has its seat in La Real Capilla de Nuestra Señora de la Victoria.
