Tholos de El Romeral
The Tholos of El Romeral, two kilometres from the Menga and Viera dolmens that are also part of the Antequera Dolmens site, is a monument dating back to the megalithic era. Along with being a Spanish Cultural Interest Asset and Heritage Site, UNESCO declared it a World Heritage site in 2016. Two officials from Antequera, the location of the site, discovered the archaeological site in 1904. The name of the tholos came from its place on a farm called El Romeral. It consists of a corridor leading to two circular chambers. It's a site with significant historical and architectural value.
