Centro Temático de las Termas Romanas

Next to the Roman baths, located in the centre of Alameda, is Centro Temático, which has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest and a National Monument. The 475m2 centre comprises six different sectors that explain the importance of Roman society and part of its history. The remains of the Roman baths were found during an excavation that lasted for several years. At the site you can see a thermal space, two lower terraces with a large fountain, a pool area and a storage area from the Copper Age. The ruins clearly show the praefurnium, bedrooms, servants quarters, swimming pools and a space for different types of meetings, among others.
