Echegaray Theatre

The Echegaray Theatre is located in the historic centre of Malaga and has a varied programme of theatre, dance, music, and plays for children. The building first opened in 1932 as a cinema and was renovated in 2009. After its recent renovation, it now has capacity for more than 300 spectators divided into two circles and the classic stalls. State-of-the-art technical elements co-exist in the building with classical and traditional components that have been preserved from its previous life as a cinema.
