Museo Conventual Carmelitas Descalzas
The Museo Conventual de las Carmelitas Descalzas Conventual Museum opened on 19 October 1999n after a year of preparations and coordination of the facilities and museum opening during the European Heritage Days. This project had two objectives: first, to collaborate with the artistic and cultural promotion of Antequera; second, to evangelize the charisma of the Discalced Carmelites, characterized by their life as cloistered nuns. You enter the museum through the visitors' entrance between the main entrance of the church and the convent door.
