Museo Picasso Málaga
This museum has become a mandatory stop for everyone looking to get to know the city of Málaga. Since it houses the painter’s most representative works, it’s Andalusia’s most-visited museum. It opened in 2003 to fulfil the artist’s wish of keeping his work in his hometown.
The museum is housed in the Palacio de Buenavista in Málaga’s historic centre, a 16th-century hallmark of Andalusian architecture. The museum is home to a collection consisting of 233 pieces that represent a retrospective of his artistic career.
