Torrox Miniature Museum
In this museum, visitors can see all the fairground models and mock-ups made by local Antonio Medina Bueno for five years. The models give a melancholy view of Torrox in the 1950s and 1960s as reflected in the funfair: the track, the rides, the roller coasters, the sideshows…
The funfair mock-ups take three of the four rooms in the museum. The fourth is dedicated to Medina’s greatest work: a 15 m2 model of Torrox as it looked in the late 1950s. The model shows the entire historic district and the country ‘cortijos,’ with their grape drying mats and presses.
