
Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja Natural Park
Los Reales de Sierra Bermeja Natural Park is between the Sierra de las Nieves and the Pico de Los Reales. This mountain range extends over 1,234 hectares and separates the Serranía de Ronda from the Mediterranean coast for 35 kilometres. It stands out for having one of the most significant extensions of the type of rocks of volcanic origin called peridotites. With a mild climate and a unique rain regime, it has perfect conditions for more than 50 plant species that are rare in other natural areas. Also, it is home to numerous mammals such as roe deer, genet, mountain goat, golden eagle, peregrine falcon and many more.
