Description of our tours:
1) Málaga City Bike Tour
Our flagship City Bike Tour is the perfect way to get to know the city of Málaga in just a few hours. Thanks to the bicycle, our clients see parts of the city that traditional tours simply cannot reach. Wind your way through narrow Arabic style streets of the historical centre, hidden plazas, boulevards, the Roman Theatre, the Alcazaba, the cathedral, the oldest churches in Málaga, the bull ring, parks, the port, the beach and much more! Throughout the tour, our enthusiastic tour leaders will entertain you with lively anecdotes and stories of this charming city and its people. During the tour, a break is taken at a beach bar or in the oldest bodega bar in Málaga.
2) Málaga Football Bike Tour
Since Málaga F.C. was bought by Jeque Abdullah Al-Thani en 2010, and well known national and international players were enlisted, interest to know more about Málaga F.C. has increased considerably. On this tour, you will travel through the more than 100 year history of the club and learn how it is connected to various monuments and areas of the city. The tour includes a guided visit of the Rosaleda Stadium and the museum of the club.
3) Málaga Tapas Bike Tour
Málaga Bike Tours also offers an original tapas bike tour. While cycling through the city, clients can enjoy delicious tapas and local wine in two typical establishments: an authentic traditional tapas bar in the historical centre and a chiringuito- a typical beach bar.
4) Alternative Málaga: Off the Tourist Track Ride!
"Cycle from Málaga"s paradise lost to Málaga"s paradise regained!"
Take an eclectic journey with us to an alternative side of Málaga that tourists rarely get to see! You"ll discover surprising street art in the new SOHO area- a once bourgois neighbourhood which fell into decline but is now the up and coming trendy part of town. Passing by the Contemporary Art Museum of Málaga, you"ll then head towards the working side of the port and out to the beaches of Huelin. Here, rising up between the palm trees, you"ll discover tall red-brick chimneys- a tribute to Malaga"s once powerful industrial past. You"ll hear about the growth of Málaga as a powerful giant of industry in the mid- 1800"s and all about the factors that led to its decline in the early 1900"s, as well as some local romantic anecdotes! The last part of the ride takes you into one of the hidden jewels of Málaga- the nature reserve of the River Guadalhorce. Cycle on trails lined by tall grasses and wild flowers, around lagoons filled with all kinds of birds and cycle out to the only wild beach on the Malaga coastline. And if you"re lucky, you may even see a flamingo or two. An unforgettable off the beaten track experience!
(For bird watching groups, it is possible to hire a birding guide at 20€ extra per person
