
Reserva Natural Laguna de la Ratosa
Laguna de la Ratosa nature reserve is a shallow saltwater lake. It is formed of river water.
The landscape is defined by large quantities of halophiles and Althenia orientalis, both plant species that thrive in saltwater. The area is used by flamingos for nesting, and shoveller ducks and swans are a common sight.
You can reach this area of natural beauty from the village of La Roda.
