
Parque Natural Sierra de Grazalema
Sierra de Grazalema natural park extends for over 53,411 hectares. Here you will find deep gorges cut into the landscape, such as Garganta Verde, which is 400m deep, and underground labyrinths such as Hundidero-Gato.
One of the trees that defines this mountainous landscape is the Spanish fir, which calls Sierra del Pinar home, where it benefits from regular rainfall. The river Majaceite also runs through the natural park where you can see otters as well as elm trees, willows and poplars that come together to form woods. In terms of wildlife, there are over 136 different species of birds, in addition to deer, rabbits, partridges and mountain goats.
