On the 1 April, San Pedro de Verona church in Genalguacil is hosting a performance by a string quartet as part of Capilla de Música Maestro Iribarren’s Lent Concert Series. The chapel aims to perform sacred and chamber music, particularly previously unheard music that has been held in the Malaga Cathedral archives. The string quartet comprises two violins, one viola and one cello. The programme includes pieces by Joseph Haydn, Alberto Escámez, Eduardo Ocón and Perfecto Artola.
