Fiesta del Conejo. - Agenda Ocio Cultural de la Provincia de Málaga y su Costa del Sol.

Fiesta del Conejo

Food is one of Parauta’s main assets. Culinary traditions are passed down through generations with zeal and shared with all the travellers visiting the town. Rabbit is one of the foods that make the basis of local gastronomy, and it is still part of the usual diet. On Rabbit Festival, it combines with rice and verdial olives in a traditional dish that is different every year. Locals get up early to make the dishes that will be later served for free. In addition, there are popular dances, bands of verdiales, flamenco shows, and traditional sweets.
